Complex Functional & Aesthetic Rehabilitations
“Full-mouth” treatments, interdisciplinary approach.
Highlights of some of the phases in the process to rebuild or restore all teeth and therefore improve the patients’ health and confidence with a solid function and a finer appearance.
Case 1 (Women, 35 years old)
Dental wear, aesthetic concerns, reduced lower facial height, discomfort around the TMJs, muscle tiredness.
Deep bite with loss of vertical dimension of occlusion.
Functional diagnostic, functional orthodontics (MEAW, 10 months), wax-up, mock-up, aesthetic crown lengthening, functional and aesthetic prosthetic rehabilitation.

Before ortho treatment

After ortho treatment

After prosthetic rehabilitation

Improved occlusal function, raised vertical dimension, enhanced aesthetics, long-term functional stability.
Case 2 (Men, 70 years old)
Purulent discharge from gums, uncomfortable mastication, food remains between teeth, inadequate marginal adaptation, oversized crowns relative to the prepared teeth, no stable bite, body image issue, muscles tension.
Periodontitis (stage 2, grade B) associated with an occlusal instability, and partial posterior edentulism.
Comprehensive periodontal therapy, functional diagnostic and detailed occlusal analysis, wax-up, mock-up, removal of inadequate prosthetic restorations, setting of long-term temporary crowns in a therapeutic position (7 months). Setting of definitive prosthetic rehabilitations aimed at restoring a proper marginal fit, occlusal stability, function and aesthetics.

Before treatment

After provisional prosthetic rehabilitation

After definitive prosthetic rehabilitation

Stabilisation of periodontal tissues. Absence of gum inflammation, bleeding, and purulent discharges. Proper interproximal contacts, restored occlusal stability, improved masticatory function. Reduced muscular tension, and personal confidence gained from finer aesthetics.
